At 17 years old, most teenagers are navigating school, sports, and social life. Zoe Garcia is doing all that— plus running her own clothing brand and taking Tik Tok marketing by storm! As the founder of Blondi Comfort, Zoe has turned a day dream into a community-driven apparel line with loyal customers, intentional design, and even a Boston pop-up shop.
From Etsy Shops to Pop-Up Shops
Zoe’s entrepreneurial journey started young. At just 13, she was designing and heat-pressing sweatshirts for her Etsy shop. Those early experiments didn’t always work out—but they laid the groundwork for Blondi Comfort.
Today, she’s designing apparel from the ground up, sourcing sustainable fabrics, collaborating with manufacturers, and shipping both from her own basement studio and trusted partners in Los Angeles and Philadelphia. Her first Boston Seaport pop-up marked another milestone—bringing Blondi to life in a community setting.
What makes Zoe’s story remarkable isn’t just her age—it’s her approach.
Without relying on paid ads or traditional marketing, she’s built Blondi through authentically sharing her daily life and mantras on TikTok, proving that real connection wins over polished campaigns every time.
Unlike many brands, Zoe has resisted the pressure to pour money into advertising. Instead, she leans into authenticity on TikTok—sharing behind-the-scenes content, personal pep talks, and organic product placement.
“People don’t want commercials. They want real life. What works for me is showing up as myself, posting behind-the-scenes, and connecting with my audience in ways that feel genuine.”
She also relies on influencer outreach—but with a twist.
Instead of contracts and conditions, she sends product gifts with no strings attached, trusting that genuine excitement will shine through.
Behind the success, Zoe is honest about the challenges of balancing business with real life. She admits it’s easy to see every moment as “content,” making it difficult to stay present. She’s also faced the hard truth that what she loves isn’t always what her customers love.
“Sometimes I’ll put a product out that I don’t love—and it does amazing. Other times, the one I’m most excited about doesn’t sell. Learning to listen to my audience, not just myself, has been a huge lesson.”
Still, Zoe’s resilience keeps her moving forward—adapting, learning, and growing with each new launch.
When asked what advice she’d give to young girls navigating today’s world, Zoe’s response was both simple and profound:
As a mom, I couldn’t help but see Zoe as not only an entrepreneur, but also a role model for my own daughter. I am inspired her confidence, creativity, and authenticity and will use this episode as a reference to show my daughter that you have the power to rewrite any story in your life.
What’s Next for Zoe
Looking ahead, Zoe is dreaming of expanding Blondi’s collections, landing in boutiques, and one day seeing a viral product take the internet by storm. For now, she’s balancing senior year of high school with her growing brand, proving that you don’t need to wait for the “right time” to chase big ideas.
