Intentional Memories Workbook

We just got back from an annual family vacation to Rye Beach, New Hampshire. Amidst the chaos of summer camps, summer colds, juggling work and travel — I pulled over my car again to record this month’s mini episode. I set the intention to make vacation photo books in here — so hold me to it!

We’ve grown from young law school students, to lawyers, to experiencing profound loss and processing grief, to growing babies in our bellies to now wrangling school aged kids while they jump waves on the shoreline. Life is incredible and I don’t want to miss a moment documenting it and sharing some of my favorite tips and tricks with you today.

One day, “when I have more time,” I’ll update this page with photos and stories from out trip and tell you a little bit more of the back story to why this place is so special to us that we’ve been going back annually for the last 16 years!

In this episode, I am breaking down my favorite ways to save summer memories with:

10 Easy Photo Organization & Family Vacation Photo Books Tips

  1. Create vacation-specific albums on your phone (e.g. “New Hampshire 2024”)
  2. Use “daily delights” method to curate photos while on vacation
  3. Utilize shared albums for group trips
  4. Organize photos using folders in Apple Photos
  5. Use AI-powered search features to find photos quickly
  6. Focus on organizing one trip or event at a time
  7. Try the “today’s date” method for organizing past photos
  8. Challenge yourself to create a photo book by mid-October
  9. Include kids’ favorite moments, not just obvious highlights
  10. Recommended photo book services: Pinhole Press, Chatbooks, Artifact Uprising ** These may contain affiliate links that benefit both of us!

I created this freebie checklist that I use to help me create fun family yearbooks each year. It can totally be used as a jumping off point for inspiration and tracking important details of your summer adventures and annual family travels.

I hinted at the end of this episode that I am refreshing the Memory Makers Masterclass and I cannot wait to share it with you soon. It’ll be revamped into a Busy Moms Guide for Photo Organization. You can hop on the waitlist over here for now!
